Ivano-Frankivsk prepares for 24-hour power outages
According to TSN.ua: Mayor Ruslan Marcinkiv urged residents to be ready for the possible absence of electricity for a day. According to the city's leader, the temperature in apartments may drop to +4 degrees, so it is important to have an action plan for this situation.
Ruslan Marcinkiv emphasized the need to create heating points, which should be equipped with:
- generators
- fuel
- hot drinks
- biscuit
He noted that in the case of power outages, the city must be prepared to support its residents. Possible locations for heating points may include educational institutions, particularly schools.
“We are heading towards a situation where there will be no electricity for 24 hours,” said Ruslan Marcinkiv.
He also mentioned: 'We must understand what people should do when the apartment is 4 degrees and dark.' These measures aim to ensure the safety and comfort of Ivano-Frankivsk residents in the event of possible power outages.
The situation with energy supply in Ukraine
These measures reflect the seriousness of the energy supply situation in Ukraine, which is caused by various factors, including military actions and technical problems. Preparing for 24-hour power outages is an important step to ensure the safety and well-being of the population, especially during the winter period when low temperatures can threaten people's health.
