Installation of Additional Heating Points in Kyiv
According to ТСН: New heating points have started to be set up in Kyiv. Residents have already noticed orange tents located on Radunskaya and Miloslavskaya streets near residential buildings.
Residents of Radunskaya street say that these tents have become a real salvation, as their homes have been without electricity for over 37 hours.
The orange heating tents are being deployed by specialists from the capital's State Emergency Service.
“On the left bank of Kyiv, we are deploying additional heating tents. Seven tents have been set up, and we will install more. The total number will be known once we finish the work,”
– reported representatives of the Kyiv State Emergency Service.
Kyiv rescuers also noted that stationary “Invincibility Points” are already operating in the city, located at approximately 34 fire and rescue stations.
“Currently, we are additionally deploying about 10 heating tents. The most will be on the left bank,”
– emphasized the rescuers.
In the orange tents, it is comfortable, they are heated by heat guns, and there are also generators.
“As in all invincibility points, tents provide warmth, hot tea, and the ability to charge phones and other gadgets,”
– assure the rescuers.
It is worth mentioning that emergency power outages have been introduced in Kyiv, as well as the operation of water supply, heating, and electric transport systems has been stopped. As of 4:00 PM, the situation began to normalize: energy workers are restoring overall electricity supply, and heating agents have started to reach homes.
The creation of new heating points can significantly ease the lives of residents who are left without light and heat, especially in cold weather conditions. Kyiv rescuers are doing everything possible to ensure comfort and safety for people during this difficult period.
