Situation with Electricity Supply

The Kyiv City Council is planning a session where decisions may be made regarding overcoming the consequences of shelling and power outages. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on the active work of utility workers on restoring the infrastructure affected by the shelling.

MP Oleksiy Kucherenko also drew attention to the situation, noting that five rockets from the Russian Federation hit the Kyiv CHP-5. This further complicates the situation with electricity supply in the city, which may lead to further outages. According to Kystak, there has currently been no communication regarding possible scenarios for the development of events in this direction.

This situation highlights the serious challenges Kyiv faces in terms of the security of its energy infrastructure. Should there be further shelling and power outages, the city could find itself in a critical situation, necessitating urgent measures from local authorities and the government to ensure the stability of life. The decisions made at the upcoming city council session could significantly influence the further course of events and Kyiv's ability to cope with the consequences of military actions.
