Kyiv remains without heating: over a thousand houses await heating

According to TSN.ua: Kyiv continues to experience severe power outages due to extreme frost and damage to generation facilities. On January 10, 2023, the city found itself without electricity due to system overload. As a result, electric transport completely ceased to operate on the Left Bank of Kyiv, while on the Right Bank, it was running with schedule deviations. Only on January 11 did Kyiv regain electricity, but over a thousand houses remain without heating.

After a massive strike by the Russian Federation, heating disappeared in 6,000 high-rise buildings. Energy expert Stanislav Ihnatiev noted that it is currently impossible to transmit nuclear electricity to Kyiv. He also emphasized that the situation remains characterized by prolonged schedules, and residents of high-rise buildings should prepare for difficult conditions.

The lack of heating directly in high-rise buildings is becoming a serious problem for residents, especially under winter frost conditions. Further actions by the authorities and energy companies will be critically important for stabilizing the situation and ensuring comfortable living conditions in the capital.
