Kyrylo Budanov Coordinates Global Youth for Ukraine Solidarity Events.
Budanov's Virtual Meeting with International Youth
According to Novyny.live: On February 13, Kyrylo Budanov, Head of Ukraine's Defence Intelligence, held an online meeting with youth representatives from abroad. The session brought together approximately 150 youth organizations from across the globe to coordinate solidarity actions for Ukraine. This initiative highlights Ukraine's ongoing diplomatic efforts to maintain international focus and support as the war continues.
The discussion centered on planning demonstrations in support of Ukraine scheduled for February 24, as well as preparations to mark the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion. Budanov emphasized the need for synchronized action, stating,
"We are approaching the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. I believe an important task now is to synchronize our actions within the framework of joint activities."
A key part of the conversation involved expressing gratitude to nations supporting Ukraine. Sergiy Kyslytsya underscored this point, noting,
"It is important to find those good occasions when we should thank countries for what they are doing for us. Especially ordinary citizens. This is never superfluous."
The meeting served as a crucial step in coordinating the efforts of youth organizations worldwide, which plan to hold pro-Ukraine events in the near future. Such coordination is vital for amplifying the global message of solidarity and ensuring a unified international response on significant anniversaries related to the conflict.
This online gathering underscores Ukraine's strategy of engaging young people globally to foster international backing and the importance of cross-organizational collaboration for maximum impact. With February 24 marking the somber anniversary of the full-scale invasion, these coordinated efforts aim to significantly raise global awareness and demonstrate solidarity with Ukraine.
