Cat found alive after 9 days under the rubble from a Shahed.
Rescue of a cat under the rubble
According to ТСН: After nine days of searching, the family affected by the Russian "Shahed" strike managed to find their pet cat alive, even though it had been under the rubble. The animal suffered burns to its fur and whiskers.
This story was highlighted by a user on the Threads platform. At the end of November, as a result of massive shelling of Ukrainian territories, residential areas suffered significant damage. One of the affected objects was the home of Olha Shusty's family. On November 29, a Shahed drone strike destroyed their house and car. Fortunately, despite the injuries, family members miraculously survived.
The bedroom was the most affected by the strike. The cat remained trapped under the rubble, and the family spent over a week trying to reach it. Thanks to continuous search efforts and volunteer support, the animal was found alive on the ninth day.
The cat received burns due to intense fire and contact with hot debris. It is now being taken to a veterinary clinic for necessary treatment and recovery.
This case became a true miracle and a symbol of hope for the family and all those following the story of the animal's rescue.
We remind you that earlier there were reports of a kitten rescued in the Kyiv region that had found itself trapped during a Russian strike. The fluffy one had been under the ceiling slab for almost 10 hours.
This rescue story demonstrates not only the willpower of people but also how important it is not to lose hope even in the most challenging situations. Search teams and volunteers played a crucial role in this process, supporting the family in their efforts.
