Kyslytsia commented on Putin's nuclear threats.
Ukrainian Permanent Representative to the UN Serhiy Kyslytsia believes that there are not enough brave individuals among the Russian leaders who would be willing to commit suicide by implementing threats about the use of nuclear weapons.
'I don't think anyone in the Russian leadership is brave enough to commit suicide. People in Russia are very weak. I believe that recently President Putin was clearly told what will happen if he dares to do what he threatens the Western world with,' Kyslytsia stated, commenting on the change in the Russian Federation's nuclear doctrine.
The Permanent Representative emphasized that it is necessary to force the Russians to sit at the negotiating table, and the only way to do this is by using force.
'We have seen recently how phone calls provoked an unprecedented attack on Ukraine, but it did not succeed in convincing the Russians to move to negotiations. Therefore, the response is the use of force,' Kyslytsia stated, adding that the global community must act as a united front to prevent war.
