Kyslytsia in the UN Security Council named the names of North Korean generals who will fight against Ukraine.
Ukraine emphasized the legality of weapon supplies
The Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN, Serhiy Kyslytsia, stated that the supply of weapons to Ukraine is legal, unlike the assistance provided by North Korea.
"Even mice and cockroaches, but not the Russian ambassador in this hall, know that none of the countries providing assistance to Ukraine are under UN Security Council sanctions. At the same Time, receiving assistance from North Korea, which is fully under sanctions, is a brazen violation of the UN Charter," Kyslytsia said at the UN Security Council meeting, according to Ukrinform.
Kyslytsia called on the UN Security Council to consider the non-compliance by North Korea and Russia with the relevant sanctions resolutions.
According to available information, a military contingent from North Korea of up to 12,000 personnel is being trained at five training grounds in the Eastern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces. The contingent includes at least 500 officers from North Korea, including three generals from the general staff.
Kyslytsia named the positions and names of these generals. It is planned to form five units or formations of North Korean military personnel. They will further be integrated into Russian units and will operate under Russian documents.
It is also known that from October 23 to 28, seven planes transported about 2,100 military personnel from the Eastern Military District to Russia's border with Ukraine. It is expected that by the end of October, the number of North Korean soldiers to be transferred from Russia's Primorsky Krai may reach 4,500. They are likely to start participating in combat operations against the Armed Forces of Ukraine in November.
On October 26, 400 North Korean military personnel arrived in the western part of the Kursk region of Russia.
