Klitschko reported a fatality after a UAV attack on a residential building in the capital.
In Kyiv, in the Solomianskyi district, enemy drones hit a high-rise building. Rescue workers are at the scene, and a search operation is ongoing. This was reported by the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko.
According to preliminary information, one person died as a result of this incident, and medical assistance was provided on the spot to four injured individuals. The fire has been localized. However, the rescue-search operation continues.
Damage to the building and evacuation of residents
Today, several apartments on the upper floors of a multi-apartment building in the Solomianskyi district were damaged. The head of the KMVA, Serhiy Popko, reported that an evacuation of residents from this building is underway. There is also information about debris falling in open areas in the Shevchenkivskyi district, but there are no reported injuries so far.
Consequences of the UAV strike
The State Emergency Service (SES) published terrible footage of the consequences of the drone strike in their Telegram channel. Apartments on the 17th, 18th, and 19th floors were partially damaged. People have been evacuated.

Air raid alert in Kyiv
Today in Kyiv, during an air raid alert, loud explosions were heard. The head of the KMVA, Serhiy Popko, noted that air defense is operational in the capital and urged Kyiv residents to remain in shelters until the alert is over.
