Russia will respond to Ukraine's peace plan after the New Year: what is known

According to ТСН: Reports are emerging in Russia that the response to the Ukrainian-American peace agreement proposal will be provided by Moscow after the New Year.

According to a source close to the negotiation process, Ukraine's active diplomatic efforts are forcing Russia to spread certain messages through the media. In particular, there are claims of an alleged 'readiness for a ceasefire' for a referendum in Ukraine.

Signals from the Kremlin

According to the interlocutor, such signals do not indicate any real change in the Kremlin's position. Russia is trying to create the illusion of interest in the peace process to avoid accusations from the United States of sabotaging negotiations. At the same time, the aggressor country has no intention of stopping the war and plans to continue it.

"We do not want to give the Russians the opportunity to drag out the process. They are interested in continuing the war and continuing to shell Ukraine. We are not interested in that, so we are literally working with Trump's team every day. Many things are already ready, but on certain issues, the presidents still need to talk," explained the interlocutor.

He also noted that Ukraine is deliberately intensifying its diplomatic efforts to limit Moscow's political space for manipulation and dragging out negotiations.

Diplomacy Activation

Previously, it was reported that President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the activation of election issues from the USA, and the fate of key issues should be determined by the people. Volodymyr Zelensky also revealed details of the draft secret peace plan with 20 points that could change history for Ukraine.

The situation surrounding the peace negotiations remains tense. Despite the signals from Moscow, Ukraine continues to actively fight for its interests on the international stage, trying to engage new diplomatic efforts. Recent events raise questions for all participants about the reality of Russia's willingness for peace negotiations.
