Attack at a Kyiv school: investigators found correspondence with Russian special services.

According to ТСН: A terrible incident occurred at a Kyiv school: a 14-year-old student attacked a teacher and his classmate with a knife. Law enforcement believes that the boy had been preparing for the crime in advance, and a possible connection with Russian special services adds new twists to the situation.

Details of the student’s knife attack

On January 12, in the Obolon district of Kyiv, one of the ninth-graders attacked his teacher and classmate. According to preliminary data, he prepared for the attack while in the restroom, where he put on a mask and helmet, and then burst into the classroom with a knife.

During the attack, he inflicted injuries:

• The classmate was diagnosed with multiple cuts to the back and forearm;

• The teacher sustained stab and cutting wounds to the arms and abdomen.

After committing the act, the attacker inflicted knife wounds on his hands and abdomen in the restroom.

Condition of the victims

Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Valentin Mondrievsky reported that all three - the teacher, the student, and the attacker - are under medical supervision. According to the information from the city prosecutor's office, the teacher is in serious condition.

Law enforcement has launched an investigation. The boy will be detained after receiving medical assistance in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

“During the inspection of his phone, correspondence with unknown individuals was discovered - presumably representatives of the Russian special services, with whom the minor discussed his plans to commit a crime. The motives for the student's actions are being established,” officials said.

Educational ombudsperson Nadia Leshchik has called for urgent psychological assistance for the victims and witnesses of the incident. She emphasized the importance of monitoring children online and their contacts with suspicious individuals.

The ombudsperson also promised new security measures in schools, including video surveillance and a ban on bringing dangerous items, to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
