According to TSN.ua: On March 24, 2023, Russian forces launched a large-scale assault on Ukraine, deploying attack drones that reached Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk. The strikes caused casualties and damaged buildings, including architectural landmarks. In Lviv, 13 people were injured, and a nationally significant architectural monument—the Bernardine Monastery Ensemble—suffered severe damage. In Ivano-Frankivsk, two people were killed, and four others were injured, among them a 6-year-old child.

Regional Developments

In the Ternopil region, air raid sirens remain active, and enemy targets have been reported shot down. A series of explosions in Vinnytsia led to traffic jams stretching for kilometers. Explosions were also recorded in Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia. According to available data, over 800 unmanned aerial vehicles have been used since March 23. The primary targets of the attack included:

Commenting on the situation, Andriy Sybiha stated:

Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv also addressed the losses in his area, noting: “The enemy targeted an administrative building! The maternity ward was damaged, but everyone is alive and unharmed.”
