Massive attack on Kyiv: almost a third of the capital is left without heating.
According to ТСН: During the night and morning, Kyiv suffered a large-scale missile and drone attack from Russian troops. As a result of these shelling, part of the city is left without heating.
Situation with electricity supply
The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, reported that “As a result of the enemy's attack, almost a third of the capital is currently without heating.” He also noted that there are problems with electricity supply in some areas on the Left Bank. Energy teams are already working to restore it.
Emergency measures in the city
As a result of nighttime shelling, emergency power outages have been introduced in Kyiv. This particularly affects the Left Bank, where hourly outage schedules are not being followed.
In addition, changes are being made to the operation of public transport in the city. Some routes are not in operation, and due to the lack of electricity in the contact network, the movement of trams No. 5 has been suspended.
This attack has once again highlighted the vulnerabilities of the capital's infrastructure and the need for urgent support from the state. Local authorities urge residents to be cautious and keep track of updates on electricity and heating supply. Meanwhile, energy workers are operating in an enhanced mode to restore normal life in the city as soon as possible.
