Night Drone Attack on Rostov: Vessel Damaged, Casualties Reported.
According to ТСН: The Russian authorities reported a significant drone attack on the Rostov region that took place at night. According to official data, around 00:15, explosions began to be heard in Rostov-on-Don and the nearby Bataisk.
The governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, clarified that a vessel was damaged in the port waters of Rostov-on-Don. Preliminary reports indicate that there are injuries among the crew members, and details are being clarified.
It was also reported that four local residents in Bataisk required medical assistance. Following the explosions, a fire broke out, leading to two residential buildings catching fire.
Situation in Rostov
Residents of the city report at least five explosions in the northern and central parts of Rostov-on-Don. Russian Telegram channels also claim that a construction site of a multi-storey building was affected.
Official services of the Russian Federation are assessing the consequences of the attack. The Ukrainian side has not yet provided any comment.
Operation in Novorossiysk
It is recalled that underwater drones Sub Sea Baby of the Security Service of Ukraine struck a 636.3 class submarine 'Warszawanka' in the port of Novorossiysk. According to available information, the submarine sustained critical damage and has effectively been removed from combat service.
This is the first documented case of successfully striking a combat submarine directly at its base using underwater drones.
Previously, it was reported that sea drones of the SBU Sea Baby struck the oil tanker Dashan in the Black Sea, which belongs to the 'shadow fleet' of the Russian Federation.
