After Losing Her Husband and Three Children in a Russian Strike, a Woman Gives Birth to a Daughter.
A Tragedy in Bohodukhiv
According to TSN.ua: Olha Krivohub, a resident of Bohodukhiv in the Kharkiv region, endured an unimaginable loss. Her husband and three children were killed in a Russian drone attack, and on February 11, 2023, she gave birth to a daughter named Kateryna. At the time of the tragedy, Olha was 35 weeks pregnant. Her family had evacuated from the settlement of Zolochiv in the Kharkiv region just days before the horrific event.
Those killed in the attack include:
- twin one-year-old boys,
- their one-year-old sister.
The father, a veteran, also lost his life, underscoring the profound devastation that has struck this family.
Dr. Viktor Kovalenko, a well-known physician in Bohodukhiv, commented on the birth: 'She gave birth, everything is fine. Both mother and baby are doing well.'
While the news of Kateryna's birth brings a glimmer of joy, it cannot erase the immense grief that Olha Krivohub now carries.
The Toll of War
