According to ТСН: In the coming months, we should not expect the war to end or a peace treaty to be signed, so Ukrainians should prepare for patience.

This was stated by Ukrainian political scientist Volodymyr Fesenko in an interview.

“We need a ceasefire agreement. Unfortunately, the chances of signing such an agreement in the near future, in my opinion, are minimal,”

— noted the expert.

Fesenko emphasized that Russia has no intention of ending the war and imposes unacceptable conditions on Ukraine. Therefore, he called on Ukrainians to prepare for a long struggle.

“I am saying unoptimistic things, but we need to be patient. There will be no end to the war in the coming months. We have to go through one more serious test. But I think that the negotiating process, which is currently undergoing another attempt, is not the last attempt,”

— emphasized the political scientist.

Prospects for negotiations

The expert predicts that over time, most likely next year, more realistic attempts to end the war may arise. At the moment, Putin is not ready for negotiations.

“Now the enemy needs to be stopped. If the enemy is not stopped — there will be no peace,”

— Fesenko is confident.

In turn, earlier analyst Maria Berlinska also expressed a pessimistic forecast regarding stable truce, believing that the chances do not exceed 30%.

Thus, the situation surrounding the war remains complex and unpredictable. In fact, experts' opinions indicate that it is necessary to prepare for long and severe trials awaiting Ukrainians in the near future. It is important to continue to monitor the development of events, as negotiations may open new opportunities for peace, but for now, active hostilities remain a priority for both sides.
