India Deeply Concerned About Attack on Putin's Residence: What Modi Said.
According to ТСН: India expressed its disappointment over reports of an alleged "attack" on the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared this on social media, stating:
"Deeply concerned about reports of an 'attack' on the residence of the President of the Russian Federation."
He emphasized that current diplomatic efforts are the "most viable path" to ceasefire and establish peace.
"We urge all parties involved to remain focused on this path and avoid any actions that could harm the process,"- Modi added.
It is worth noting that the Kremlin accused of the alleged "attack" on Putin's residence, which reportedly took place overnight on December 29 in the Novgorod region. In the last conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump, Putin expressed dissatisfaction with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, noting that the "attack" by UAVs occurred almost immediately after U.S.-Ukraine negotiations in Mar-a-Lago.
The President of Ukraine emphasized that claims of an alleged "attack" on Putin's residence are "typical Russian lies," explaining that Moscow uses such statements to undermine diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the war.
This situation reflects tensions in international relations, particularly in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. It becomes increasingly difficult to hinder diplomatic efforts as both sides exchange mutual accusations. It is important for the international community to support peace negotiations to find a way to de-escalate violence.
