Young entrepreneurs in Ukraine can receive a grant for their enterprise up to 150,000 UAH through the Diia portal. This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko. Grants allow young and proactive Ukrainians under the age of 25 to realize their business ideas. Applications for the grant can be submitted online on the Diia portal in the 'Grant for your own business' section.

Young entrepreneurs do not need to create new jobs, but after receiving the grant, they should open a private entrepreneur account. Three years after the first grant, entrepreneurs can receive another grant from the state under the 'Own Business' program on general terms. As of today, this is up to 250,000 UAH provided there are at least two jobs.

Under the 'Own Business' program, the state has already allocated over 20,000 grants for business development to young entrepreneurs amounting to nearly 5 billion UAH. In addition, Ukrainians can also receive microgrants from 50,000 to 250,000 UAH for various needs such as purchasing equipment, raw materials, renting premises, and so on.

To receive a grant, it is necessary to visit the Diia portal and upload your business plan. The entire process is controlled by the State Employment Service. Detailed information on obtaining a grant under the 'Own Business' program can be found on the program's website.

Ukraine has also started issuing grants for students through the Diia portal.
