In Bukovina, a motorcyclist was arrested while trying to break through to Romania.
According to ТСН: In the Chernivtsi region at the international checkpoint 'Porubne', one of the Ukrainians tried to illegally leave for Romania on a motorcycle.
According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the man understood that he had no legal grounds for crossing the border and did not plan to undergo border and customs control. Instead, he attempted to quickly break through the checkpoint.
Reaction of the border guards
The border guards did not delay their reaction: they applied the 'Barrier' command and detained the violator.
Further actions
Administrative protocols were drawn up against the man. He, along with the motorcycle, was handed over to the representatives of the National Police for further consideration.
This case once again highlights the importance of adhering to border crossing rules. Illegal attempts to exit may lead to serious consequences, including legal liability. The border guards continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure safety at the state border.
