Comment from the Kyiv State Emergency Service

Representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv noted that no reports of a fire in this area were received on line 101.

“It is currently unknown what is burning. It is possible that an old video has been published online or this is not a fire,”

— the capital's emergency responders said.

It is likely that there was a rupture in the heating network in the Zakrevsky area, which caused steam from boiling water to rise into the air.
