“The 59-year-old perpetrator, while intoxicated, inflicted blows on the 62-year-old victim with makeshift objects. He hit him with a glass bottle, a frying pan, and a children's drum to the head, as well as with a metal stick to the legs,”

As a result of the injuries, the victim died on the spot. The suspect tried to evade responsibility by reporting the incident to the police as an accident, but forensic experts refuted this version.

Law enforcement officers detained the perpetrator, and found 0.91 permille of alcohol in his blood, which is 4.5 times higher than the permissible limits. The police also noted that the suspect already had previous convictions for crimes against life and health.

Investigators, under the procedural guidance of the Bila Tserkva District Prosecutor's Office, have charged the man with intentional murder. The court has chosen a preventive measure of detention without the right to bail. The suspect faces up to 15 years in prison.

It should be noted that in Transcarpathia a man killed his 10-year-old stepdaughter, he beat the child with his hands, feet, and a table leg.

This tragic case underscores the serious issue of violence in Ukraine, particularly in tense situations where alcohol can provoke aggression. The authorities are actively working on investigations and implementing measures to prevent similar crimes in the future.
