Water supply schedules are being canceled in Irpin: what is happening.

According to ТСН: In Irpin, the operation of the water supply network has changed due to a lack of electricity. From today, residents are expected to receive water according to a new temporary schedule in the morning and evening hours. Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko reported that the water supply situation is planned to improve soon.

KP 'Irpinvodokanal' announced the establishment of water supply schedules. According to the published schedule, water supply will occur during the following intervals:

• from 06:00 to 09:00 – in the morning;

• from 18:00 to 21:30 – in the evening.

Representatives of the utility company, commenting on the necessary restrictions, noted:

'KP "Irpinvodokanal" is working under extraordinary challenges to provide the community with water. Once stable electricity supply is restored, water supply will immediately return to normal operation.'

Later, Yulia Sviridenko reported that water supply in Irpin would be carried out without schedules.

'I just spoke with the head of Kyiv OVA Kalashnikov about the water supply situation in Irpin – normal water supply without schedules must be restored as quickly as possible. The resources for restoration are available, and the respective equipment for backup power supply has also been sent to Irpin,' Sviridenko reported.

She also noted that, in addition to solving the problem in Irpin, the government has initiated a large-scale inspection of the readiness of other communities. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba has been instructed to urgently submit a report to the Cabinet of Ministers on the additional needs of critical infrastructure facilities for backup power sources.

'The government provides full support to communities and is ready to ensure additional resources,' Sviridenko added.

About five hundred high-rise buildings remain without heating.

In the capital and Kyiv region, some supermarkets have temporarily suspended operations, including Novus in Poznyaky and Osokorky, as well as 'Silpo'. However, according to ATB, the stores are operating without interruption.

Ukrainians are advised not to expect stabilization of power supply until the end of winter. Expert Volodymyr Omelyanchenko explained that with each new attack on the energy sector, the situation is only getting worse, as the system physically cannot withstand constant blows, despite the efforts of specialists.

The water supply situation in Irpin reflects the general problems with energy that affect entire regions. The authorities are actively working to resolve these issues, but due to constant shelling, the situation remains complicated. Residents are advised to be prepared for possible inconveniences, particularly in terms of water supply and energy provision, over the next months.
