The Odesa-Reni Route Closed: What Happened and When Traffic Will Resume.
According to ТСН: The Odesa-Reni route is currently closed to vehicular traffic in both directions. The section of the road is still inaccessible.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper.
“Information on the resumption of traffic will be provided later. We ask, if possible, to refrain from traveling on this section of the road,” said Oleg Kiper.
The Situation in Odesa
It should be noted that on the night of December 13, Russia carried out a powerful strike on the energy infrastructure of Odesa region, as a result of which Odesa and other settlements in the region were left without electricity.
Due to the destruction of the energy infrastructure, part of Odesa and surrounding settlements have been left without electricity, water, and heating. Utility services are delivering technical water by tankers, while energy workers operate under constant air raid alerts, often forced to interrupt their repair work.
Repair work on energy facilities is ongoing, but the situation remains complicated. Residents of cities and villages are demanding that utility services expedite the restoration of services, as winter brings new challenges in the form of cold weather and worsening living conditions.
