The president of the football club 'Podillia' has died
The president of the football club 'Podillia' in the village of Vasylkivtsi, Mykhailo Olegovych Koval, has died in the war at the age of 34. This information was provided by the Football Association of Ternopil region.
The village head Andriy Haidash reported that Mykhailo Koval died on January 12 in the village of Yampil in Donetsk region due to an attack from a strike drone, which caused damage to his car.
A great loss for the Koval family, the team 'Podillia', the Vasylkivtsi community, and all of Ternopil region. The Football Association of Ternopil expresses its deepest condolences to the relatives, friends, and all who knew Mykhailo. Eternal memory! Rest in peace! Heroes do not die!

Other casualties at the front
Other military personnel and athletes have also died in the war. On January 8, correspondent Volodymyr Rakov, a participant in the show 'Everybody Dance', died at the age of 30.
Professional rock climber Maksym Petrenko, a native of Luhansk who won medals in youth competitions and participated in military operations, also died.
Another loss at the front is powerlifter Andrii Mazanovych, champion of Ukraine and Europe. He died defending his country.
