NABU conducts searches of Andriy Yermak: investigation details.
According to ТСН: The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has confirmed that searches are being conducted on November 28 at the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak.
This was reported by the bureau's press service.
"NABU and SAP are conducting investigative actions (searches) at the head of the President of Ukraine's Office. The investigative actions are sanctioned and are being carried out as part of the investigation. Details will follow," the bureau's statement reads.
It is worth noting that earlier on the same day, information about the searches at Yermak's office was announced by people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak. According to him, the investigative actions are carried out by NABU and SAP.
Discussion on Yermak's dismissal
On November 20, during a closed meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the faction of the "Servant of the People," the deputies raised the issue of possible dismissal of Yermak. As noted by the party leader Olena Shuliak, the decision on the appointment or dismissal of Yermak is made exclusively by Zelensky.
This situation has caused considerable resonance, as searches of high-ranking officials always draw attention to the issues of transparency and the fight against corruption in Ukraine. The public will monitor further investigations and potential political consequences of these events in the President's Office.
