According to TSN.ua: The National Bank of Ukraine has announced its official currency rates for March 25, 2026. The US dollar now stands at 43.92 hryvnias, an increase of 10 kopiyky. The euro rose by 1 kopiyka to 50.89 hryvnias. In contrast, the Polish zloty dropped by 2 kopiyky, settling at 11.91 hryvnias. These rates are used by banks and financial institutions across the country for transactions and reporting.
In addition to current figures, the central bank has also released its forecast for the upcoming week. The dollar is expected to trade in a range of 44 to 44.5 hryvnias, while the euro is projected to fluctuate between 50.5 and 52 hryvnias. These projections highlight the ongoing volatility in Ukraine’s foreign exchange market, where rates shift in response to broader economic conditions.
Why These New Rates Matter
The National Bank’s rate updates serve as a key signal for market participants and the national economy. The rise of the dollar and euro may reflect inflationary pressures and changing demand for foreign currency. Meanwhile, the decline of the Polish zloty could stem from shifting economic dynamics in the region or domestic factors. Monitoring these currency trends allows businesses and investors to adjust their strategies to evolving market realities.
Keeping a close watch on exchange rate movements helps stakeholders make informed decisions in a fluctuating economic landscape.
