Incident Details
The incident occurred in the evening when the population of Lviv was being notified about mobilization. A serviceman of the Halytsko-Frankivsk RTC received a fatal injury. According to preliminary data, a 30-year-old resident of Lviv inflicted a stab wound on him during a document check and fled, using a gas canister.
“The victim — a veteran of the ATO — was hospitalized with critical damage to the femoral artery. Despite the doctors' efforts, his life could not be saved.”
The attacker has been detained, and the murder weapon has been seized. A criminal proceeding has been opened for the intentional infliction of serious bodily harm that caused the victim's death. The detainee is to be informed of the suspicion and a preventive measure in the form of detention is to be chosen.
Earlier, it became known about the murder of a serviceman in Poltava region. A farewell ceremony was held in the Poltava region for Territorial Recruitment Center employee Oleksandr Sykliachuk, who died from a gunshot wound while performing his official duties. He was 39 years old and left two children.
In connection with recent events, the detention of the attacker has become an important step in investigating this tragic case.
