Famous politicians expressed their greetings for Mother's Day
On Sunday, May 11, Mother's Day is celebrated in Ukraine. This year, well-known Ukrainian politicians decided to convey their warm greetings to mothers on social media. They emphasized the important role of mothers in people's and the nation's lives as a whole. Member of Parliament Dmytro Razumkov addressed his mother, expressing gratitude for her endless support. Former President Petro Poroshenko highlighted the unique role of Ukrainian mothers in raising a new generation of warriors and volunteers.
Representative of the Commissioner for Children's Rights Iryna Suslova called motherhood a mission that encompasses a whole life, and a daily endeavor that shapes a child's worldview. Suslova shared her own joy of motherhood.
Yulia Tymoshenko believes that motherhood is the most challenging, brightest, and most necessary profession in the world. The leader of the 'Batkivshchyna' party mentioned this in her speech. Olena Kondratiuk at the Ukrainian Women's Congress suggested sharing stories about their mothers, and Maria Ionova expressed her greetings to the special woman in her life - her mother Halyna Bratchuk.
