Meeting with the elders in Kalush

According to ТСН: During the meeting with the elders held at the city council of Kalush, the head of the municipal inspection department Mykhailo Kostelnyi reported on the command-staff exercises and shared an unpleasant incident he encountered - he fell into an open manhole.

At the meeting, the head of the department reported on the regional level exercises that took place on November 25 at the premises of the Vistyvska Gymnasium. On the same day, according to Mykhailo Kostelnyi, he experienced an incident that ended not very pleasantly for him - he fell into an open manhole.

“I closed the doors of the car, looked down, took a step, and fell into the manhole,” the official shared.

This situation was used by Mykhailo Kostelnyi as an example of the danger posed by open technical holes. He urged the elders to conduct additional inspections of the territories of educational institutions.

Kostelnyi emphasized that inspectors in the city check whether the manholes in the areas of educational institutions are closed, while in villages, the elders are responsible for this.

It is also worth noting that a tragic event occurred in Kharkiv region: a man fell into a sewage manhole and died, highlighting the importance of monitoring such dangerous conditions.

Such incidents make the issues of safety in educational institutions as well as the entire city relevant. It is important for responsible persons to regularly check the technical condition of infrastructure, as the safety of citizens is a top priority for every locality.
