Why Russia Needs Dnipropetrovsk Region: An Armed Forces Officer Made an Unexpected Statement.
An officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, former commander of the 'Shershni Dovbusha' drone strike company of the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade Andriy Onistrat believes it is illogical for the Russians to go to the Dnipropetrovsk region. He stated this in an interview with TSN host Natalia Ostrovska.
According to the military, the Russian army needs the Donetsk region. They want the Donetsk region. It is illogical for them to go to the Dnipropetrovsk region. First of all, there are villages there - which means they will take a long Time to advance. The second point - so what if they entered the Dnipropetrovsk region, and then what?... This is already written in their Constitution, - says Andriy Onistrat.
In addition, in his opinion, this is too exhausting for the enemy. 'Therefore, I think that if I were in their place, I would choose the first option to go there (to the Donetsk region, - ed.), the second option - to go to Zaporizhzhia, and only the third option - to go to Dnipro. This is the logic that suggests to me how I would act in their place,' - said the military.
It is reminded that Russian troops are moving towards the Dnipropetrovsk region, trying to bypass Donetsk, where fierce urban battles await them.
Earlier, the deputy commander of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, Maksym Zhorin, said that the enemy is already a few kilometers from the Dnipropetrovsk region, but society is not too concerned about this.
It is reminded that Russian troops are trying to 'sneak' in small groups around Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region but cannot create a real threat to the city.
