On January 11, electricity disconnection schedules will come into effect in Ukraine: what is known.
According to ТСН: The situation in the energy system remains complicated after recent mass attacks from Russia. The country is gradually recovering from enemy blows. On Sunday, measures will be introduced across Ukraine to limit electricity consumption.
This was reported by Ukrenergo.
Who will be disconnected
The dispatch center announced consumption limits for the near future. The restrictions will affect all categories of consumers:
Household consumers: use of hourly disconnection schedules (HDS).
Industry: implementation of power limitation schedules (PLS).
The main reason is the deficit in the energy system caused by equipment damage due to missile-drone attacks.
Where to find the schedule
Ukrenergo emphasizes that the situation can change rapidly. Local distribution system operators (oblastenergo) can provide the exact time of power outages at specific addresses.
“Find out the time and volume of disconnections at your address on the official pages of the oblastenergo in your region,” the message states.
Detailed disconnection schedules for all queues are also published by local government internet resources and media.
Energy workers urge Ukrainians: when electricity is available as per the schedule, it should be used sparingly, avoiding the simultaneous use of several powerful electrical appliances. This will help reduce the load on the network and speed up recovery work.
It should be noted that hundreds of thousands of people in Ukraine remain without electricity. In some regions, schedules have not yet been implemented, and work is ongoing to restore stable electricity supply after the previous attack and bad weather.
In the context of military conflict and constant attacks on critical infrastructure, Ukraine's energy system continues to face significant challenges. Overall, the situation requires prompt decisions from all participants in the process to ensure reliable electricity supply and the comfort of the population.
