New Heating Subsidies: What is the Maximum Amount You Can Expect.
The Government of Ukraine has launched a new support program for the population, which affects about 500,000 families using solid fuel for heating their homes.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal in his Telegram channel.
According to the head of the government, Ukrainians who heat their homes with coal, wood, or other solid fuels will be able to receive a subsidy of up to 21,000 hryvnias.
"Only for October, Ukrainians were granted 1.4 billion hryvnias in housing subsidies and benefits. The total amount of payments for the 10 months of the current year is 29.6 billion hryvnias," stated Denys Shmyhal.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that for the convenience of citizens, a simplified procedure for obtaining subsidies is in effect, and for those who already received assistance during the heating season, an automatic reassignment system is in operation.
Let us remind you, earlier Ukrainians were explained how not to lose the subsidy if a family member is abroad.
