Strike drones attacked Kharkiv region
According to ТСН: On the night of January 1, Russian strike drones hit residential areas of Kharkiv region, causing serious fires in private and multi-apartment buildings.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
Fires in Kupiansk and Chuhuiv districts
In the Kupiansk district, the fire engulfed a private house, an outbuilding, and a garage in two households. The total area of the fire was 110 square meters.
In the Chuhuiv district, fires occurred in multi-apartment and private houses.
To eliminate the consequences of the attack, 40 SES employees and eight units of equipment were involved.
Recall that on New Year's night, Russia massively attacked the Volyn region with kamikaze drones, targeting the critical infrastructure of the region.
This nighttime attack on Kharkiv region underscores the ongoing threat facing Ukrainian regions. The fires resulting from such attacks become not only a tragedy for the victims but also a serious challenge for firefighters and rescuers who are combating the aftermath.
