Russian missile hit Dnipro: death toll has risen to four

According to ТСН: Russia has attacked the million-strong city again. As a result of the shelling in Dnipro, the number of casualties and injured has increased.

Information about the dead and injured

The mayor Boris Filatov confirmed in Telegram that:

"The terrorist attack of a Russian ballistic missile in the downtown area. You can see this with your own eyes. Literally a minute ago, updated information arrived. The fourth death is already confirmed. Not three, but four dead. And now we are checking with hospitals. According to preliminary calculations, there are 26 injuries of varying degrees. But right now there are 26. We hope it will be less. Let's say so. Everyone is working, you can also see this with your own eyes,"

he noted.

A call to residents

The mayor addressed the residents with a request not to interfere with the work of services:

"I would like to take this opportunity to say one message that I would ask you to convey to the residents of the territorial community. Even I, a person under protection, whose car is known by the whole city, could not get through for about 40 minutes because there were such crazy traffic jams. I just address all the residents of the city."

He emphasized the importance of responding to air alerts to save lives:

"When you hear an explosion and when there is an air alarm signal, if possible, do not drive around the city, because I stood in this traffic jam, and even ambulances, emergency services vehicles, and service cars that were heading here could not get through, because there was simply no movement. And, let's say, to get through, I even had to push cars away by hand to get here. So I really, really ask all the residents of the city. First of all, it is dangerous. Secondly, it hinders everyone’s work: the police, rescuers, ambulances, utilities. Well, I apologize, a bit emotional, but why push here, especially to the epicenter of the explosion? Can we choose parallel routes or just postpone our affairs for half an hour, an hour and not drive and not interfere with the work of utility services, rescuers, medics, and everyone else? Thank you, colleagues,"

— said Boris Filatov.

Updated information

The acting head of the regional state administration Vladyslav Haivanenko reported that:

"40 injured in Dnipro at this time. The vast majority are in hospitals. Unfortunately, 11 wounded are in serious condition,"

— he added.

Recall that earlier there was information about explosions that occurred in Dnipro during the air alarm, with a warning about possible ballistic weapon use from Taganrog. Residents were urged to take shelter.

This situation in Dnipro demonstrates the growing risks to the safety of citizens. It is important for people to remain cautious during air alarms and follow government recommendations, as the life and health of each citizen is a priority.
