Russian attacks damaged property in Odesa by 4 million hryvnias
The mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, reported that he received 247 applications from city residents for compensation for damages, of which 119 have already been satisfied.
As a result of Russian attacks in November, 237 residential buildings were damaged, including 96 private and 141 multi-apartment buildings. A total of 1,163 premises were damaged, over 10 thousand square meters of roofing of houses, and about 2,900 windows.
The mayor stated that the process of processing documents and providing assistance to citizens is ongoing, and everyone will receive the necessary support. He is also considering the possibility of increasing the amount of assistance, including the restoration of roofing in private houses.
However, in order to receive compensation from the state, legal documents on real estate are required, Trukhanov reported.
The commission decided to provide compensation for 22 applications totaling over 1.1 million hryvnias and to deny compensation for 7 applications. There were also 11 decisions regarding the destruction of real estate objects, among which 8 denials and 3 compensations totaling 5.779 million hryvnias were granted.
All decisions were approved at the meeting of the executive committee.
On November 28, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine with 'Calibers' and X-101 missiles from Tu-95 aircraft. There were also recorded attacks by Russian troops on the Ukrainian energy system, leading to emergency power outages. Over 500 thousand people in Lviv region were left without electricity. Additionally, debris from missiles was recorded falling in several areas of Kyiv.
