Today, August 13, Odesa activists and residents honored the memory of those who died in the war through the action 'Minute of Silence'. In Soborna Square and in the Peresyp district, they gathered with placards to commemorate the victims of armed aggression. In the city center, people blocked the road, reminding drivers of the important moment of silence. Police monitored the order while people held placards with words of remembrance. The traditional action also took place in the Peresyp district, where residents took to the streets demanding a halt to traffic. Organizers remind that honoring the memory is our duty, as today soldiers are giving their lives for our country. The Minute of Silence is held every day in all cities of Ukraine according to the president's decree, and organizers call on everyone to join every Wednesday and Saturday. Activists put their hearts into this action so that the memory of the fallen does not fade. It should be noted that in Odesa, transport will be stopped during the minute of silence, and such initiatives are gaining popularity throughout the country, demonstrating respect and remembrance for those who gave their lives for Ukraine.
