Odesa Announces February 14th Bus Timetable for Essential Social Routes.
Odesa's Social Routes for February 14th
According to Novyny.live: Odesa has released a schedule for its social bus routes on February 14th. This measure is a direct response to the prolonged absence of electric public transport, which has been out of service since December 13th due to sustained Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. These strikes have crippled the city's tram and trolleybus networks, severely disrupting daily life for residents.
To maintain essential mobility, the city is operating social routes on a reduced schedule, with social buses replacing some regular services. This initiative aims to provide necessary transportation for citizens under these challenging circumstances, a common adaptation in Ukrainian cities facing energy blackouts.
Social Route Timetable
The following social routes will be in operation on February 14th:
- Route C1 'Railway Station — 28th Brigade Street': Departures from the Railway Station at 06:30, 08:50, 13:00, 15:30, 17:50 and from 28th Brigade Street at 07:40, 10:00, 14:10, 16:40, 19:00.

It is also noted that trolleybus route №3 'Zastava I Station — Shevchenko Park' will make trips from Zastava I Station at 07:10, 08:30, 09:50, 12:30, 13:50, 15:50, 17:10, 18:30, and from Shevchenko Park at 07:50, 09:10, 10:30, 13:10, 14:30, 16:30, 17:50, 19:10.
In summary, Odesa has organized these social routes to partially compensate for the loss of electric transport caused by the ongoing power supply issues. The continued attacks on Ukraine's energy grid make the restoration of normal services unpredictable, placing a heavy burden on urban mobility. The implementation of these social routes provides a critical alternative for residents, representing a vital effort by local authorities to adapt to the crisis and ensure the continued availability of transport services for the population.
