Artsyz Community in Odesa Oblast Will Be Without Electricity Until December 26.

According to ТСН: The Artsyz community in Odesa Oblast has been left without electricity due to strikes on energy infrastructure. Light is expected to be restored no earlier than December 26.

According to DTEK Odesa Electric Networks, Russian troops attacked energy facilities three days ago. It became known at that time that restoration of electricity supply should not be expected soon. DTEK has now reported that the restoration timelines have been extended.

Currently, over 32 thousand consumers in Odesa Oblast remain without electricity. Energy workers are operating at full capacity.

Energy Supply Situation

The Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleg Kiper, previously reported that over the last four days, energy workers managed to restore electricity supply to 583.7 thousand households in Odesa Oblast and fully ensure energy supply to critical infrastructure.

However, the damage to the energy system in Odesa is significant, complicating the ability to simultaneously connect all customers.

“Currently, 32.3 thousand consumers are temporarily without power. DTEK Odesa Electric Networks specialists are working around the clock to restore electricity in all homes as quickly as possible,” Kiper noted.

The situation in the Artsyz community remains complex, as numerous damages affect the restoration of electricity supply. Energy workers are making every effort to resolve the issue, but the timelines remain uncertain. This case confirms the necessity of ensuring the stability of the energy infrastructure during wartime.
