Series of explosions in Sumy: the city is left without electricity due to a drone attack.

According to ТСН: This evening in Sumy, a series of powerful explosions were heard. The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine report movement of unmanned aerial vehicles from Sumy region to Poltava region. Local social media also inform about a mass attack of 'Shaheds'. As a result of this attack, part of Sumy is left without electricity, and around 11 explosions have been heard in the region.

Situation at the front

It is worth mentioning that during a combat mission in the eastern front, a military pilot – senior navigator of the 39th tactical aviation brigade, Colonel Ivanov Yevgeny Vitalievich, was killed.

These events once again indicate the escalation of the situation in eastern Ukraine and the systematic attempts of the enemy to attack critical infrastructure. The activity of drones indicates the continuation of air threats and emphasizes the importance of our military's operational readiness to protect the population and territory.It should be emphasized that each such offensive not only threatens security but also has a direct impact on the lives of ordinary citizens, especially under conditions of energy resource abuses.
