Russian invaders attacked a police car in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region
On August 31 in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, Russian invaders attacked a police car with a drone. As a result of the attack, two law enforcement officers were injured, and one person died. This information was reported by the Kharkiv region police.

All the injured were taken to the hospital with shrapnel wounds. Unfortunately, police officer Oleksandr Popovych could not be saved.
For about 20 years of his life, Oleksandr Popovych served in the internal affairs bodies, serving the Ukrainian people. During the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian armed forces, he was performing his professional duties and participated in humanitarian missions in one of the most dangerous areas of the Kharkiv region
Oleksandr Popovych was 44 years old. He is survived by his wife, son, daughter, and mother.
It is also worth noting that on August 31, Russia struck the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv with a “Grom-E1” missile from the territory of the Belgorod region. The attack caused damage to residential buildings and infrastructure.
Thus, Kharkiv declared mourning due to the victims of the enemy strike that occurred on August 30. As a result of Russia's attack, 6 people died, the youngest of whom was a 14-year-old girl who was killed near a playground. Additionally, 97 people were injured, including 22 children. The condition of five children is satisfactory, a 17-year-old girl is in a severe condition.
It should be reminded that on August 30, Russian invaders bombarded Kharkiv with air bombs. One of the missiles hit the central part of the city, specifically a 12-story residential building.
