Occupants are using a new shelling tactic in Kherson region.
According to the Regional State Administration, Russian troops have increased shelling in the Kherson region and changed their tactics. They first drop aerial bombs and then shell the same area with artillery. As a result, the situation remains dangerous after the initial shelling. The head of the Regional State Administration urges residents to stay in shelters as long as possible to save their lives.
The commander of the special forces operation, Oleg Prokudin, urged residents not to post photos of the shelling on social media, as this could help the enemy adjust their fire. He also noted that the consequences of the shelling should be kept secret.
According to reports, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a ceasefire, but at the same time called on the troops to be ready to repel provocations from the Kyiv regime. This message was made following a drone attack in Kherson.
The United States stated that they will continue to encourage a ceasefire, despite the Kremlin's denial of such an announcement. Meanwhile, a Russian spokeswoman accused Ukraine of violating the truce and using American weapons.
Later, it became known that the Russian Federation announced the end of the 'Easter truce'. The Russian Ministry of Defense ordered its troops to continue combat operations. The Czech Foreign Minister compared this announcement to a performance.
