Occupants stormed the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

On January 2, the occupants attacked the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv and Kupiansk directions. Some positions of the Armed Forces were damaged, reports the operational-strategic grouping of troops 'Khortytsia'.

Vovchansk in the Kharkiv direction and the areas of Zahrizovo, Dvorichna, and Krugliakivka in the Kupiansk direction were attacked by the Russians, it is reported.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered losses under enemy fire. Measures are being taken to ensure safety and selective positioning, stated in OSUV 'Khortytsia'.

In the Lyman direction, the defense forces successfully repelled the attack. The enemy attacked in Chasiv Yar in the Kramatorsk direction and in Shcherbynivka and Toretsk in the Toretsk direction. Measures are being taken to detect and destroy the enemy assault groups that tried to penetrate the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Attempts by the enemy to use its numerical superiority and attack in the Pokrovsk direction are being successfully repelled. The enemy attacked in Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Pishchane, Shevchenko, Sloviansk, Dachne, Solone, and Novovasylivka.

In the Kurakhiv direction, the enemy is actively storming the urban development of Kurakhove and attacking in the direction of Yantarne and Dachne. The enemy attack was repelled, but the enemy is preparing for further assaults.

The enemy attacked in the areas of Vremivka, Novosilka, and Kostyantynopil on the Vremiv direction. During the attack in the direction of Rozliv, enemy infantry fighting vehicles were involved. Defenders destroyed two infantry fighting vehicles, and the attack was repelled.

Units of the defense forces continue to destroy the superior enemy forces to stop its offensive actions.

Fortifications in Kharkiv Region

Fortifications and defensive structures in the cities of Izyum and Balakliya continue to be built in Kharkiv region. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Synegubov. He noted that these measures are being carried out taking into account the front line and possible changes in the direction of enemy movement.

He also reminded that on Sunday, December 29, Russian troops tried to break through the front line near Hatyshche and Vovchansk, and on the night of Monday, December 30, they attacked the Kharkiv region using Shahed-type strike drones. Fortunately, there are no casualties in Kharkiv region, but there is destruction.
