Zelensky also pointed out that energy companies continue to restore critical infrastructure damaged due to Russian attacks. Despite the difficult conditions, the system functions stably, and Ukraine is ready to start the heating season.

At the beginning of October, Russia carried out one of the largest attacks on Ukrainian energy since February 2022, launching 35 missiles and 60 drones, which hit Naftogaz gas extraction facilities, leading to damage to a part of the capacities.

However, according to Zelensky, restoration works continue without interruption, and the country will ensure heat supply even in the event of new shelling.

"We are working to ensure that winter passes peacefully for people. Ukraine is ready for the heating season," the president assured.

It was previously reported that may be delayed until the beginning of winter due to government decisions and problems with electricity supply.

Thus, Ukraine is actively preparing for the new heating season, despite serious challenges from the aggressor. Important resources are allocated to support energy stability, and the government is working to ensure comfortable conditions for residents. In the face of the threat of new attacks, the continuation of restoration works is considered a priority for the state.
