Support for Vulnerable Groups

According to Novyny.live: Starting in spring 2026, individuals with Group I, II, or III disabilities and other vulnerable categories holding internally displaced person (IDP) status can apply for a quarterly payment of 2,000 UAH from the charity 'Global Empowerment Mission Ukraine.' This initiative is designed to assist those most affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

The application deadline for this aid has been extended to March 27, 2026. Payments are available to IDPs residing in the Volnovakha district or the city of Dnipro. Eligible recipients include not only persons with disabilities but also other groups such as:

  • children with disabilities;
  • seniors aged 60 and older;
  • large families;
  • single parents with minor children;
  • guardians of children;
  • relatives of the deceased;
  • families of missing persons;
  • relatives of prisoners of war;
  • individuals affected by the Chornobyl disaster.

IDP Support Programs

The charitable foundation 'Right to Protection' is running a support program for internally displaced persons in several regions, including Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, and Kharkiv. Under the 'Response Consortium' project, vulnerable Ukrainians can also receive a one-time payment of 10,800 UAH. These efforts aim to improve the social conditions and meet the basic needs of those who have endured hardships due to the war.

This initiative represents a critical step in supporting socially vulnerable populations, as the conflict in Ukraine has significantly increased the number of IDPs and people with disabilities. The extended application deadline reflects the commitment of charitable organizations to ensure financial assistance reaches those who need it most. Programs implemented by various foundations will help strengthen social stability in war-affected regions.
