Russians struck Zaporizhzhia: direct hit on a residential building.
According to ТСН: In the evening, the Russian army carried out a new attack on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in explosions in the city. According to preliminary reports, a missile hit directly into a residential apartment building.
This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA, on his Telegram channel.
He noted that a massive fire engulfed several floors of the building. All emergency services are currently working at the scene, and information about the casualties is being confirmed.
Direct hit and consequences
Ivan Fedorov quickly informed residents about the attack and emphasized that the enemy has again struck civil infrastructure in the city. The hit was yet another confirmation of the terrorist methods of warfare employed by Russia.
A strong fire broke out at the site of the strike, rapidly engulfing several floors of the building.
“There is a hit on a residential building. Fire on several floors,” said the head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA.
Rescuers and firefighters urgently arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames and begin search and rescue operations.
Service work and data clarification
At the time of preparing this material, information about the number of casualties and the injured is still being gathered. Ivan Fedorov noted that all relevant services, including medical personnel and law enforcement, are working on-site to assist the victims, assess the scale of the destruction, and document the consequences of the war crime.
The authorities urged residents of the city to remain in shelters until the air alert is lifted and not to disseminate photos and videos from the strike site until official communications are made.
UPD: It later became known that as a result of the ‘arrivals,’ at least four apartment buildings, as well as an industrial facility and a store, were damaged.
“As a result of the enemy attack, at least 4 apartment buildings in various districts of Zaporizhzhia have been damaged. An enterprise and a store caught fire,” wrote Fedorov.
According to preliminary reports, two people were injured. Their condition has not yet been reported.
Recall that a recent shelling of Kyiv resulted in the partial disappearance of public transport. The release of route taxis has been temporarily reduced, about 70 units of transport were damaged, and some routes are operating with limitations.
The situation in Zaporizhzhia raises many questions, as enemy attacks on civilian objects have become routine. The local government continues to work on ensuring the safety of residents, while emergency services focus on providing necessary assistance to the victims. Data about the injured continues to come in, and officials are still working to clarify details of the destruction.
