Eurowings flight made an emergency landing: passenger died of a heart attack during the flight.

According to ТСН: On board the Eurowings flight from Gran Canaria to Hamburg, a medical emergency occurred. A pensioner traveling with his daughter suddenly suffered a heart attack.

Despite immediate medical assistance, the passenger unfortunately died during the flight. Due to this tragic event, the aircraft, which had six crew members and 175 passengers on board, made an unscheduled landing in the Spanish city of Bilbao.

Flight Recovery

The flight was resumed only the next day. The crew and passengers who witnessed this tragedy spent the night in Bilbao.

Eurowings officially confirmed the passenger's death and expressed sincere condolences to the relatives of the deceased.

panicked and opened the emergency exit doors
