According to ТСН: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, during his visit to Florida for talks with Donald Trump, will stop in Canada. The main goal of this stop is to coordinate positions with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and other European leaders regarding the peace plan.

The head of state announced this to journalists.

Coordination of Important Points

According to the president, detailed consultations are planned in Canada, including online, to form a unified approach before key negotiations in the USA.

"We are currently on our way to Florida (USA). On this route, we will stop in Canada — I will have a meeting with Prime Minister Carney. We plan to communicate online with the leaders of Europe — we will discuss all the issues, exchange details of the documents that I will be talking about with the President of the USA. Of course, among all these details are sensitive issues," emphasized Volodymyr Zelensky.

What Will Be Discussed

The planned stop in Canada is an important step for aligning the positions of Kyiv and its Western allies. It is expected that the parties will discuss the following issues:

• Joint Documents: final coordination of points in the plan that will be presented to Donald Trump.

• Security Guarantees: mechanisms for supporting Ukraine from the EU and Canada in case of new agreements.

• Unity of the West: demonstrating a united position before negotiations with the new White House administration.

Challenging Negotiations

The meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump in Florida will take place on Sunday. Previously, the president noted that the new peace plan, known as the "Ukraine-Europe Proposal", is 90% ready, but some points, especially regarding territorial integrity and security guarantees, remain subjects of complex discussions.

Zelensky will meet with Trump on Sunday. The main topics will be security guarantees and increasing pressure on the Kremlin if it does not respond to the constructive plan for ending the war.

Zelensky also reported that on December 25 he held talks with representatives of the President of the USA, during which important aspects of cooperation were discussed. Members of the Ukrainian delegation, who have already worked in Miami, participated in the negotiations.

This meeting in Canada and talks with Trump are part of the strategic dialogue between Ukraine and its partners. They aim to create a clear strategy for the peaceful resolution of the conflict and to ensure support from the West. This approach is intended to strengthen Ukraine's international alliances, especially in the context of threats from Russia.
