Ukraine and the USA are negotiating peace: what is known about the meeting in Miami.

According to ТСН: The meeting of representatives from Ukraine and the USA, dedicated to the issue of ending the war with the Russian Federation, is proceeding in a constructive manner.

This information was made public by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Serhiy Kyslytsya, who is participating in the negotiations in Miami.

“It was a good start to the current meeting. Very exciting and so far constructive,” Kyslytsya reported on social media X.

In Kyslytsya's opinion, there is a “warm atmosphere that contributes to a potentially progressive result” at the negotiations.

He also expressed gratitude to the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio for “excellent leadership,” and to Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner for “his attitude and the way he conveys his vision.”

Composition of the delegations

On the Ukrainian side, the delegation is headed by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov. The American side is represented by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, special envoy of President Donald Trump Steve Witkoff, and Trump's advisor and his son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Before the negotiations began, Rubio noted that ending the war should ensure not only long-term security for Ukraine but also opportunities for development.
