In Odesa region, 15 thousand first graders will go to school: how schools are being prepared.
From September 1, nearly 200 thousand schoolchildren are preparing for classes in the Odesa region, including 15 thousand first graders who are looking forward to their first lessons in 934 classes.
In total, more than 3 million children will begin studying in Ukraine from September 1, with over 200 thousand of them residing in the Odesa region. The preparations for welcoming first graders to schools has sparked increased interest from the authorities, who are already conducting inspections at various educational institutions in the region.
What is being inspected
One of the inspections took place in the village of Kremidivka in the Dobroslav community, where the construction of a radiation shelter for the local lyceum is ongoing. Facilities in the Dachne community were also visited, where security enhancement projects are being implemented.
Odesa officials pay special attention to the safety and quality of the educational environment for students and teachers, as well as monitor the adherence to work schedules by contractors.
All these measures are aimed at ensuring safe and comfortable learning for children in Odesa schools.
