A Major General Sarvarov Died Near Moscow: Car Blown Up with Explosives

According to ТСН: A car explosion occurred in the south of Moscow, in which Russian Major General Fanil Sarvarov was present.

This information was confirmed by Ukrainian public figure and volunteer Serhiy Sternenko.

"Preliminarily, General Sarvarov was blown up near Moscow. The explosion occurred when he was getting into the car. There is currently no information on the condition of the scoundrel," said Sternenko in a post.

The explosion of the passenger car occurred around 7:00 in the yard at Yaseneva, 12. Witnesses report that at least two cars were damaged. Russian Telegram channels also mention an injured driver of a white KIA SUV.

"We heard a loud explosion; it sounded in the area of the Domodedovo metro station, Yaseneva street," told eyewitnesses.

According to reports from Russian public pages, Sarvarov may have been in the blown-up car. They claim that a homemade explosive device was placed under the driver's seat.

As a result of the explosion, Sarvarov's car was severely damaged, and the general was extricated from the vehicle. He was found with multiple shrapnel wounds and fractures. He was hospitalized in serious condition, but later the Investigative Committee of Russia reported that Sarvarov had died.

The Investigative Committee of Moscow has opened a criminal case regarding the murder; the main version is connected to Ukrainian special services. Investigators and forensic experts are examining the explosion site, and a medical and explosive examination will be appointed soon.

It should be noted that Sarvarov participated in combat operations in Chechnya, Ossetia, Syria, and Ukraine, holding the position of head of the operational training department of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

We also remind that earlier, on December 1, there was another explosion in New Moscow: a Land Cruiser 200 Prado belonging to a 41-year-old scientist, a doctor of physical and mathematical sciences who works at the Research Institute 'Polus', was destroyed. This enterprise, which is under sanctions, is engaged in developing laser target designators and components for Kalibr and Iskander-M missiles.

This incident underscores the tense situation in Russia, where increasing violence and attacks on high-ranking officials are becoming an increasingly common phenomenon. Explosions related to political activities may indicate a deepening conflict and an intensification of actions by special services, characterized by an increase in hostile activities.
